Key Challenges

Building Aslan required operating within a highly regulated financial environment, where PCI compliance and secure handling of sensitive data were critical from day one.

Strong security guarantees, high availability, and resilience were essential to protect both employees and employers. In parallel, the mobile apps had to support dynamic force updates to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving regulations, platform requirements, and App Store and Play Store policies—without disrupting users.

Integrating multiple third-party services was central to Aslan’s functionality and reliability. Tribe Payments handled core payment processing, requiring strict PCI compliance and robust transaction flows. Mea Wallet enabled secure user wallets and balance management, demanding strong data consistency and real-time synchronization, that meet platform-specific security, certification, and UX requirements to ensure frictionless, compliant payments across devices. Intercom was integrated to support in-app communication and customer support, while maintaining performance and data privacy across regulated user journeys.

The platform needed to integrate reliably with multiple third-party services and payment providers, while maintaining a seamless user experience.
