Inside the mobile app, the AI Assistant analyzes photos (e.g., fur, eyes, teeth) and generates a health score (0–100) with personalized recommendations to support earlier awareness and better decisions.

Delivering a reliable, camera-first mobile experience was central to the product.

Capturing consistent, high-quality images across a wide range of devices while keeping the flow fast and intuitive. At the core, the mobile app depended on a rapidly evolving AI capability—iterating quickly without compromising stability, UX, or release cadence. Another key challenge was guiding users through the right capture steps so results remained accurate and repeatable in real-world conditions.

The mobile app enables dog owners to capture photos and receive AI-powered health insights through a simple, guided experience. Images are analyzed to generate a clear health score and personalized recommendations, supporting early awareness and preventive care.

Real-time capture guidance

The app guides users in real time during photo capture, helping them frame their dog correctly. This improves image quality and consistency, ensuring more reliable AI analysis while making the experience faster and easier for users.

In-app support and user engagement

Integrated in-app messaging via Intercom allows users to get help, ask questions, and stay engaged without leaving the app, supporting both customer assistance and ongoing product communication.
